Last night I was pondering the existence of 'Light Spyro' -
I pointed out that if all the evil were truly separated from Spyro into one Physical Form, he would by extension be entirely Light magic, making him Light Spyro. Which is why I interpret Dark Spyro as NOT being all of his Evil, but the Worst parts of his emotions, the extreme parts of his mind, born from the darkness left in his heart by Malefor.
So what would Light Spyro be? If Spyro is the perfect balance of Light and Dark, what is Light Spyro?
Light Spyro, is a fantasy. Dark Spyro is a true reflection of what Spyro 'Is' genetically, who he would be had he been raised by his biological family, who he was raised to be by the neglect of the Skylanders and Eon, and who is true Family managed to ward off by showering him with the Love and Care he craves the most.
He is Spyros Fears, Hurt and Anger all in one to the extreme, he is Violent and Cruel, Explosive with no warning- only because he feels he has to be what people say he is.
Light Spyro however, is the Golden Child Spyro thinks he is expected to be. He is perfect and almost godlike, with no negative emotions, actions or thoughts, he is purely perfect. He is the perfect Son, Hero, Friend and Prince.
Only visible in Spyro's mind, he looks as though he is MADE from Light, a reflection of how 'unobtainable' this version of himself is; Spyro is flawed and imperfect, which makes him a better person than he realises. This Light version, would never survive in the real world.
After the separation of Dark Spyro, he would be seen in Spyros reflection, but only because he imagines it when looking in the mirror. He wouldn't be seen physically by others, because he js simply a manifestation of Spyros desire and beliefs - to be a better reflection of what everyone thinks he should be.
