Accidentally did scrying tonight
I guess what they say is true; you have to be in a pretty zen mental state and clear your mind and not think about it all, right? I certainly wasn't thinking about much at all, but I was kind of dazedly thinking about my future teaching while staring into the dark window and waiting for the pasta to cook. Saw someone, a man, come up behind me and embrace me, and saw myself laugh into it. I'm not going to read too much into it. But at least I know I'll be loved.
Filled with good energies after last night's Joninės (midsummer celebration)! Also feeling completely fucking exhausted. And just had a conversation with our cute male houseguest (NOT related to me) wearing only my robe. Nice 👌🏻
unsettling round of shufflemancy
first song: "Old Flame," by Kimbra. (Old flame, you're still the one that holds me / Can't you feel it burning? / Can't you feel it burning still?)
second song: "Satellite Heart," by Anya Marina. (I'm a satellite heart, lost in the dark / I'm spun out so far / You stop, I start / But I'll be true to you.)
third song: "Tango (Temptation)" from the Singin' in the Rain score. (instrumental)
I'm pretty sure it's a warning about the Ex, and not to be tempted--or that I will be tempted. Which is fascinating because there are few things (or people) that I would like to do less. I’ll have to keep an eye on this.
added ground poppy seeds to the black salt mix (for invisibility) aka for the ex to not stare at my dashing good looks also recording everything so if i need to redo this at some point i will have reference
*pleased witchling noises*
BLACK SALT IS DONE! I used Himalayan pink salt as a base because of the associations with love, and ground it into the charcoal. The intent to stomp out and blacken all of the love (the pink) I once felt was strong. This is a good beginning.
