Hello! I'm just wondering when the orchestra ends? It's 12:30am here so my eyes are dying 😂

They are currently resuming after intermission so it should end within the hour or slightly after. Last year the new trailer was revealed not long after intermission. :)

Does this new trailer show any worlds, anything based on a Disney movie set in a jungle in particular?

No news on that unfortunately! From the info that I’ve gotten from those at the event the trailer was in Twilight Town and Sora was handed the game controller from a kid in twilight-town and was shown playing it on a bench. The only world shown was Twilight town so far. Apparently Hayner, Pence, and Olette had a cameo in the trailer as well with new outfits.

(cant see the date of this bc tumblrs app is dumb so dunno when you posted this) if so i went to that one too! it was amazing, especially the opera. and i definitely teared up more than one during the whole thing. also im jealous you met nobuo uematsu, thats honestly the one thing i want most in life.

Yes it was!  Aaah that’s awesome! I agree it was so amazing and the rendition of FFVI’s Opera was so unexpected and unique. Same here! My friend and I were crying during Zanarkand of course and The Oath- plus many other times, it’s just so wonderful to hear the music orchestrated live. The symphony did such a wonderful job it was so beautiful! I hope you get to meet him someday! I was able to snag VIP tickets for me and a friend when they first went up. It was wonderful to get to meet him and have a picture with him and Arnie Roth. Plus shaking hands with Uematasu twice was such an honor ;-; he’s so nice and very appreciative of the fans.

I'm going to a distant worlds show tonight! How were most people dressed? Usually when going to see an orchestra/symphony you should kind of dress nice, but I'm not sure because its final fantasy.

:D That’s awesome! I hope you have great a time! I dressed up in a sweater dress since it was cold out that night. For any of the videogame orchestra’s I’ve gone to I’ve dressed up mostly. For Distant Words it was kind of a mix of attire- we had probably 10 people in cosplay and the rest were all dressed up or a few were casual. If you want to dress up it’s a great chance to do it! I dressed up and really had a good time. I’ve also seen some people go for a formal cosplay approach- I saw a formal dressed Rinoa and Squall couple cosplay.

So it’s really all in what you want to do! For the venue there wasn’t a set attire listed in my case.

Exactly, I just saw news (not from SE themselves just yet) that it is going to be available as a $20 DLC...but if that’ll include Episode Ardyn and the other rumored new story content that’s left to be seen. It’ll be really frustrating if we have to pay for another season pass to get access to them. With the season pass and comrades I’ve already spent waaaay too much on FFXV. It’s pretty ridiculous. ^^; as an FF fan though I still want to see this game to the end. It’s just so expensive to do so.

Dude same. I love how I dropped $300 when it first came out and now they’re like ‘lol jk here’s the real game’ 8| I realize that adding DLC is standard practice now, which is usually fine, but this is bordering on ridiculous

My exact thoughts. I’m so salty about it ;-;. At least they are releasing the added content as a DLC, now I’m not as upset but it’s $20. Still at least it’s not the full game price I guess.

Thanks! I actually just saw your comment! I haven’t gotten my notifications from tumblr lately on my phone! >.< I’m so excited to see what they do with the story- plus we’ll have to play it together some time next time we get to see each other! At least I hope we can!
