SIGH.

something i really don’t like about me when it comes to writing fic is that i have like, kinda-huge commitment issues? but specifically with fics i plan on being kinda long? (for example, light and heat could have easily been one of those fics that went on forever, or was a series. we’re all in our private traps is, at the current juncture, looking to be a 3-part series. a fucking trilogy??. fuck me.)

but i always plan out what’s going to happen in the later arcs better and more deeply than i do the first. and i never wanna do the first part because it’s world-building which i’m not that terrific at (i never really was, that’s why i’m so much more comfortable with drabble-type stuff) but when it comes to this sort of thing, the only way to practice is to do and it’s annoying but-

eh. anyway, to make a short story long ... i’ve started back up on waiopt and will try to get something out this weekend.

soooooo. i found the smut thing i’d written. and through my planning and plotting, i’ve decided the official story doesn’t really need a smut part but i did write this thing and i want it out there. i’m just ...cleaning it up, bringin’ it up to my current level, hopefully keeping them in lah-considered canon.

aight, so. 

here’s the deal with light and heat: the original file got fucky-fucked bc i’d used a program i apparently don’t have anymore to write it, but luckily i didn’t have much more written down than what was already uploaded. 

SO. i’m gonna see about getting some of that written tonight. now sure where i’m gonna go with it, but i know someone suggested going back and delving into seth a little bit, or something (i’ll go read their comment again LOL i forget exactly what they’d said sdgkjsdhg) and see if i can get that straightened out. i miss writing it, even if it was before i’d gotten a better-version of dean down. (like, i prefer the way i write him now, i’ve gotten more time to study him and have gotten more practice. that’s why i’d been down to completely rewriting lah but the person was like “no no just do this” so. lol.)

so ye. just a little update. c: continue with your lives!

(also i predict the rise of romox i'm sorry i don't make the rules)

i’m all up in my ambreigns feels today. 

also i should tell y’all that light and heat has hit another snag. i’m currently reworking the next chapter but the next update might have to wait until after the new year. sorry, y’all. (deadbeat might have to wait too. not because of a snag, but because i wanna finish it before i update it. just a few chapters to go!)

in the meantime, i got an idea last night while working for a new ambreigns side-project, so i’m gonna see how far into the planning process i can get before i make it an official wip. if i can get it all planned out and some of it written, we might be in business.
