@lighthonor sent: “Cut loose, have fun!” ( hear me out they’re in a tavern )
𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐈𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍, Knight had expected something more his speed. Riding horses, sword training—the usual things he did on the daily to keep himself ready for anything. This, however? This was…Not a place he usually found himself in. He had been in here maybe once in a while to look somewhere, but not to just…hang out. A lot of the time, he would be asked to lighten up a little, or that he took his job far too seriously. So what if he did? He had to protect the Princess and her kingdom. It was a tall order.
“No offence, Madeleine, but…isn’t this a waste of time?” 𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃𝐍’𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏 but question, a surprised noise leaving hind a she felt a strong hand on his shoulder; a slight flush to his cheeks from embarrassment, shaking his head softly as he gently removed the other man’s hand from his shoulder. He could hear the Princess’ voice in his mind, echoing—reminding him that she convinced him to come here and spend time with the man next to him. But he thought this would have been more…educational than recreational. Sitting around and drinking wasn’t necessarily on his list of hobbies. He listens to the other man speak, blinking once at him before looking down at his untouched drink, then out the nearest window to make sure his horse, Berry, was alright. She seemed fine—content and nobody bothering her. Good.
“This isn’t exactly my kind of fun—“ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐊𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐒, glancing over to the paladin; very uncertain about being at a Tavern in an attempt to relax. He would rather be washing Berry’s reigns, or fixing her saddle, or—well, anything other than being here. “Besides…You travelled all the way here…For what? Just to come to Tavern?”
