One of the scariest things you can experience is living in an area that is across the street from the agricultural lands of your district/state. Then, a thunderstom comes along and lightnings are able to stike extremly near, so when they do, you see a complete white flash trap your home and a loud, echoing boom.

Lightning

A few weeks ago, I texted my sister hoping that our apartment wouldn't get struck by lightning, as one bolt seemed to hit awful close. At 4 a.m., captain-snen and I were woken up by construction work. I looked online to see that two houses on the other side of town had been struck by lightning, but I was so tired I simply went back to sleep. The next day, I read an article saying *three* buildings had been struck by lightning. Third one was ours! Luckily for us, it missed our apartment. I'm sorry about our neighbors, though. :( I hope they can move into a vacant apartment in the same complex.
