It's All About The Lightbulb
Too many times someone will make the mistake of choosing a light fixture that isn't capable of performing the desired task. Each fixture is designed specifically to only hold a certain type of bulb. Unfortunately there are hundreds of different types. Each type of bulb has a unique combination of size, shape, base, fillament, amperage, voltage, wattage, and even color. It's because of these unique combinations that each bulb emits light in a different pattern. This is why I am here to advise you against putting the cart before the horse. First thing you have to do is figure out exactly what it is you want to light. Next, (before choosing a fixture) decide which bulb will best light that object or space. Lastly, you select the style of fixture that can properly support the bulb. Basically the fixture selection comes last because, well, it's all about the lightbulb.
I always wondered, if lighting strikes your house and you have a pet fish, its in water so wont it get electrocuted??
For exterior, interior and emergency.
