this took an unfortunate amount of time. and at some point i realized i'd saved it as a draft and not actually Posted It, so phooey on me. it's old by now but still worth posting because i'm sure there's Someone out there that'll get a kick out of it like i did LOL (7/21/25, drawn 6/30/25)

i have no idea what's come over me today but i'm not exactly complaining; i managed to redesign lightning and before i knew it i'd blacked out and added 6 new images to my toyhou.se. this is the most polished of them all and ohhhhh nicholas you've done it again. it's fucking adorable. scandalightning you will always be famous (to me)! jon go kiss your boyfriend about it or something!!

context for those that want it: i realized after designing lightning that the elemental dateables tended to pretty much be made of whatever it was they were (i.e. airyn, river) and lightning was just. a dude. so i figured it might be cool for their animus wavelength to reflect something different on account of them being so subdued and calm. under extreme duress (because i'm a sucker for elemental characters losing themselves) or at will, they can turn into something a little more reflective of what they actually are. for funsy-wunsies. ;D thank you date everything for ruining my life in the span of (checks watch) barely three weeks

anyway, as it stands, here's my Date Everything oc + the aforementioned Scandalabra in question. i've been essentially whoring myself out to the entire house just for a chance to get the SPECS needed to talk to scandalabra, so lightning will just have to do it in the meantime. go, my child. let me live vicariously through you. i WILL smooch that goddamned candelabra if it's the last thing i do
