The Light of God is wisdom, knowledge, understanding and liberation amongst other powerful things that it is. I pray that the Light henceforth shine more in you and through you.

Walking in the light of God's Word, faith takes root in our hearts, and produces strong confidence and rejoicing in God, who by His grace, has called us out of a world of darkness, to live in His glorious light.

By faith, we believe the gospel of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who has sent His followers to make disciples of all the nations, and has promised to be with us always, even to the end of the age.

Growing in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, dissolves all doubts and fears, and makes His church steadfast and resolute in faith and good works. Faith in Him lights our way on the journey of becoming Christlike, and fruits of righteousness, which are by Him alone, fill our lives. In this, His name is glorified!

Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (John 8:12). See also John 3:16-21.

On Light and Spirit

Light is perceived both in the material and the spiritual planes. In the physical world, our eyes witness light as it reveals the form of objects, illuminating the external realm. But in the spiritual sense, light is only perceived by the inner eye - the sacred faculty within every soul capable of seeing beyond the world of appearances. This inner vision is one of the greatest gifts given to man, to all who can say "I Am", for only through this awareness can the soul prove its own existence.

Man, given consciousness and reason, can turn his mind inward and see the pure light of truth cast upon him from the boundless ocean of divine intelligence - an infinite wisdom present in every atom of the universe. As Hermes Trismegistus said:

"The lips of Wisdom are closed, except to the ears of Understanding." – The Kybalion

Indeed, spiritual truth is ever-present, awaiting only those who are prepared to receive it. Jesus himself spoke of this great mystery in the Sermon on the Mount:

“22 The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness.” (Matthew 6:22)

This purity of vision is the key to spiritual freedom. To think from the light of truth is to align oneself with divine order, to free the soul from the shadows of ignorance. The inner eye, once opened and refined, grants the power to see what no man has ever seen and to do what no man has ever done. Few have mastered this sacred art, but those who have become vessels of divine radiance, shining forth love, wisdom, and truth into the world.

Yet, this spiritual flame, which many do not truly understand, is dimming in our time (21st Century). Man is losing his connection to his divine nature, growing ever more entangled in the illusions of material existence. Few must be chosen as the keepers of the flame, guardians of the sacred fire that sustains the spiritual essence of humanity.

To comprehend this mystery, we must first understand the Spirit - the Spirit of God, which permeates all things, both living and non-living. It moves through minerals, plants, animals, and man alike. It is the very breath of life that fills the heavens and the earth.

It is His will in the Spirit that causes the atom to vibrate in harmony with the movement of galaxies. It is the same force that makes a mustard seed grow into a mighty tree, The desire that carries a droplet from the mountain down to the river, until finally uniting it with the vast ocean. It is this same Spirit that calls men to great actions, divine inventions, and the fulfillment of higher purpose.

It is the Spirit of the Great Architect - the essence of God, the pure force of love. And it is only through the Spirit that God expresses His boundless love for humanity.

May we seek this light, purify our vision, and become bearers of divine truth in a world that longs for illumination.
