Method For Filling Up Your A5 Sketchbook Faster

Find an older sketch or doodle you liked and want to refine

Print it out on a4 format

3. Cut Out the Portion you want to transfer into your sketchbook

4. Lineart using a lightpad

5. Celebrate! (And color it with markers or pencil)

I printed out a template of 10 different sizes (a5 and a4 format copy) Of my oc's Vallaslin tattoo, because its difficult to recreate traditionally without the file itself, then used the lightpad and some careful maneuvering to place the tattoos on his face :D Including a free png for you to use if you'd like to do something similar for your own dragon age dalish elf ocs in your traditional art <3

Addendum: Another method for this is to print out a digital sketch you've done, mixed media is fun. Change it up sometimes! And this way you can keep both the sketch or revisit older work, the scan resizes the original sketch when I print it out like this. Additionally I can revisit older a5 sketches in a bigger, a4 sized sketchbook if I'd like to later on.

Other than Opus art supplies, would anyone know optimal piece material to make a small tabletop lightbox? I have some carpentry skills, but I'm not 100% sure how I'd rig it or set an underlight, looking at dimensions of 10" by 12" or possibly equivalent to a Light Pad pro ( 12 x 17 ) and any affiliated proucts any help or ideas are useful!
