F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

I don’t actively participate a lot in fandom so this is kind of hard to define… Harry Potter was basically my introduction to fandom and the world of fanfiction, but since I haven’t cared at all about any new stuff since Pottermore became a thing it’s hard to count that. I do still read drarry fic though and uhh rp a bit but I don’t feel like i’m in the fandom anymore.

Pokémon doesn’t count either since I only got back into it after playing SoulSilver in 2010. So basically as far as ‘years of uninterrupted obsession’ goes, I guess the True answer is that I’ve been crying about Kingdom Hearts for about eleven years—and that probably wins.

🌠 - Would your muse make a wish on a star? If so, what would they wish for?

Perhaps it’s not the easiest wish to make, but Red would wish for the strength to finally let go of their past that’s holding them back. They really don’t want to let those traumatic moments of anxiety from years ago define them, but moving on is harder than it seems. Red doesn’t entirely know why they can’t seem to let go, either, though they’re reluctant to confront the issue. It would be nice if a wish could make it all go away.

“Look at you go!” Brendan cooed to the pokemon strutting in front of him. He and Missy had just exited the contest hall in Hearthome City. A shiny new ribbon wrapped around the Delcattys’ neck. 

The pokemon meowed proudly, her tail flicked back and fourth as she weaved in and out of the crowd that was exiting the hall with them. While Brendan had competed in multiple contests that day the only one he came out victorious in was the beauty category. And of course. Who could resist that precious cat face. 

“I think someone deserves a pokeblock!” He hummed, putting a hand on his chain. “In fact I think everyone does for their hard work. How ‘bout it Missy, you want the honors of having the first one.” He’d started to feel around the pockets of his lumpy jacket, only for the pokemon to huff and turn her head.

“Uhg, you spoiled little -- One poffin an now you’re hooked on the stuff. i swear they lace those with something -- Hey, wait!” Brendan was completely cut off as his pokmon trotted over to the nearest person with their poffin case out. Where she proceeded to attempt charming the pants off the poor individual into giving her a treat. 

“Missy!” He hissed, scurrying after the cat.

📊 - How does your muse feel about the state of the world? Could it be better? Could it be worse?

A little bit of both.He shows some concern for how Pokémon are viewed to serve mankind. Though he is a gym leader himself, there are times when he questions battling as a recreational activity. It’s the attitudes of a few rotten trainers he has encountered previously have made him become more mindful of how he treats his own. But on the other hand, a trainer’s genuine love for their Pokémon tend to shine through battles.

“Lucaaaas... Luuuuuu~cas...,” voice in a singsong, almost like a wife waking up his husband kind of tone, Barry pokes his sleeping best friend’s cheeks. Barry almost preferred Lucas in this state, where the nerd-in-a-hat wasn’t talking his ears off about how, ‘Professor Kukui is SO cool, I can’t wait to meet him and discuss SCIENCE-’, or other subjects Barry never had the patience to understand in detail, but listening to his friend talk with such excitement in his eyes- guess it was worth it. 

When his touch doesn’t resurrect the sleeping mass, he leans back and-

“LUK! WE’RE HERE AND PROFESSOR KUCK IS WAITING FOR YOUUU!” Before Lucas could possibly recover and beat him up, Barry hauls most of their travel bags and makes a run for it. 

He waits not too patiently outside the airplane, the hot Alolan air already made him sweat bullets and his tank-top stuck to his sides. Both eyebrows raised high in the air and dropped just as quickly, making a pair of orange aviator sunglasses fall perfectly onto his nose before laughing.

“So sleeping beauty finally woke up, come on come on- soak up the sun, Lukie and let’s get going!” A growling could be heard. Barry looks down. Then looks back up, a sheepish grin on his face. “But first, grub! I heard they got something called, mala-salads and it’s a must eat.”
