Oh, sad, the dumbshit biphobes already blocked me because they’re nothing but cowardly pieces of shit that already know I can rip apart any dumbshit thing that they say as an “excuse” to be biphobic, but never fear, we can examine and destroy every single “argument” that they try right here.

Such a trip that after all this time bisexuals still try to claim biphobia is a thing, and people just accept it like it makes total sense.
She came out of the gate hot with this one. How dare bisexuals talk about our own issues! What a scandal!
Where are the bi specific slurs?
You desperately want to make “bihet” one, but imagine thinking that pointing out we’re that invisible and erased that much that one of the few things we don’t have for ourselves are slurs, where homophobic slurs are used against us. But of course, when we point that out, then we’re still being “appropriative.” It’s funny how that works.
What are the laws that specifically aim to prevent bisexuals from freely expressing their bisexuality?
Oh, so now suddenly lesbians and gay men aren’t oppressed in the UK because there are no laws explicitly banning same-sex relationships? Is that what we’re arguing now? Oppression only exists if there are specific laws that explicitly target minorities? Is racism suddenly over now? Is the UK bigotry-free because we have the Equalities Act that outlaws discrimination?
(This is a great time to remind everyone just how stupid biphobes are, and how ironically bigoted they’re happy to be to try and “own the bisexuals.”)
What institutional privileges do gay people receive at the expense of bisexuals?
I’m not sure if it counts as “institutional privilege,” but when it comes to LGBT funding, despite bisexuals being around 50% of the LGBT community, we’ve only been given 0.017% of all LGBT funding over a span of 40 years.
The main “privilege” that lesbians and gay men have over bisexuals is the fact that your sexualities are accepted and understood as individual, discrete sexualities.
Both straight and LG people, being monosexual, refuse to believe in bisexuality as an individual sexuality. Instead, both reduce us to objects that can only be validated through the sex of our partners. If we have a same-sex partner, we’re erased as “gay.” If we have an opposite-sex partner, we’re erased as “straight.” If we have no partner, then we’re erased as “straight” yet again.
If you don’t mean to imply such things exist, stop saying biphobia exists.
Biphobic LG people hate having that monosexual link to straight people, but love going on and on and on about how bisexuals have a link to straight people because we share opposite-sex attraction.
Coin a new word that suggests prejudice, not a structural oppression akin to homophobia.
No. You don’t get to define our oppression. You don’t get to tell us what it’s like to be bisexual, because you have no idea what it’s like to be bisexual. We are not your subordinates. We’re not objects. We’re real human beings with real issues, and the fact that you have the audacity to believe that you do control us only proves that you believe that you have power over us, ironically destroying your constant lie about how we’re the real ones in control here. You always tell on yourselves.
If bi people are oppressed specifically for being bi it means non-bi people form a coherent oppressor class on the basis of their non-bisexuality;
No, you stupid fucks, it means straight people oppress all of the LGB on the basis of us not being straight. You constantly twist and lie like TRAs and MRAs to selfishly prioritise yourselves while also ironically defending straight people. You arguing that straight people don’t oppress bisexuals is defending our joint straight oppressors. But you don’t care, despite pretending to be “feminists,” because you hate bisexuals more than you hate straight people and it really, really shows.
it means homosexuals reap benefits for their sexual orientation;
The one “benefit” that you have is that everyone believes that homosexuality is real, whereas they don’t believe bisexuality is real. You have the “benefit” of everyone taking homophobia seriously, but not taking biphobia seriously. And that’s something you’ve done on purpose to silence us, taking the side of our oppressors over the community you’re supposed to care about.
it means gay people and straight people share privilege on the axis of sexuality.
You share your monosexuality, and the more that you biphobes get bold, the more that you LG biphobes prove again and again that you’d rather suck up to straight oppressors than accept that both the LG and bisexuals are oppressed, the more that I and other bisexuals really do start thinking that your joint monosexuality is more important to you than actually fighting oppression.
So you’re doing this to yourselves, and more and more bisexuals are waking up to this shit because you’re so obsessed with your hatred of us.
Biphobia is a ridiculously offensive term and I’m so tired of seeing bi people use it like it’s harmless.
Fuck off. You’re not going to keep silencing us when some of us are finally waking up to the fact that we are oppressed and we want to be liberated.
This is a deliberate tactic to try and destroy bisexual class consciousness and it’s evil. It’s “offensive.” I’m sure any word that describes a kind of oppression and bigotry “offends” bigots. I’m glad it “offends” you.
The oppression bisexuals experience on the axis of sexuality is for their same-sex attraction;
No, it’s not, and saying stupid shit like this proves that you don’t believe in bisexuality as a unique sexuality. We are oppressed based on the fact that we’re not straight.
What’s actually offensive is for a different group, who has no idea what it’s like to be us, to then sniff and sneer and say that their interpretation of our oppression is the only “right” one, and if we come together and disagree, point out all the studies that prove otherwise, you’ll just gaslight and abuse us to try and completely silence us because you hate us that much.
gay people experience the same thing except worse.
And this is the crux of all of it! When bisexuals say, “all of the LGB are oppressed by straight people,” the LG biphobes are so egotistical and so used to being the centre of attention when it comes to oppression based on sexuality, they do their best to erase biphobia because they need to feel like they have it worse.
Because as soon as others take biphobia seriously, they’ll be forced to share the spotlight, for others to say, “both homophobia and biphobia is bad,” and they only want people to talk about homophobia, like people are doing right now.
It sure feels like “oppression” if someone else’s liberation means that instead of being the sole spotlight, they have to accept that others have it as bad as they do, too.
And yet biphobia is mostly used to complain about gay people, especially lesbians.
Tell me, genius, how are bisexuals supposed to fight for our liberation when even the rest of the LGB, our supposed allies and community, won’t allow us to speak? How can we defeat heterosexist patriarchy when we’re constantly and deliberately silenced by biphobic LG?
It’s also primarily lesbians because women are the ones who speak the most about social justice online, and bisexual men are even more erased than bisexual women. Biphobic lesbians are the ones controlling the conversation and demanding that bisexuals keep our internalised biphobia so that we serve you instead of being your equals. It’s been this way for decades, and you’re just continuing that time-honoured, biphobic LG tradition.
As I was saying in that other post, googling “biphobic lesbians” gives you 12K results; “biphobic gay”gets 4.8K results, vs. 452 results for “biphobic straight” and less than 10 for “biphobic straights” or “biphobic heteros”.
Damn, maybe actually analyse that and figure out that your community is riddled with biphobia and see how much that damages bisexuals instead of crying about being called out for biphobia?
The word biphobia isn’t meant to stand for a coherent analysis of structural oppression, it’s mostly a smokescreen bisexuals use to conceal their homophobia.
And this is always what it comes down to.
“I’m going to be as biphobic and hateful to bisexuals as much as I want and then if you call me out, I’ll just call you a homophobe!”
Fuck off. Lying and abusing the term homophobia to attack, abuse and turn bisexuals into self-hating servants so you can feel superior shows you don’t give a shit about actual homophobia, you just care about feeling “the most oppressed” and hating bisexuals more. You have to be the worst victims, you can’t see that others are victims too. It always has to be about you, and if it isn’t about you, then that’s somehow “oppression.”
The only thing that accepting that systemic biphobia and intracommunity biphobia “costs” the LG is a share of the spotlight and everyone recognising that bisexuals have issues that we’re allowed to come together about and speak about too. That’s the cost. It costs nothing to stop being biphobic and actually share solidarity.
But you cowardly, stupid, evil fucks don’t care about that. You pretend to be “feminists” and then hate and abuse bisexual women constantly, blaming us for everything, demanding continued silence enforced on us from straight men, and then you have the audacity to feel angry when we say, “Wait, no, we matter too.”
No. Fuck you. Biphobes are nothing but a waste of fucking oxygen.
