okay okay little rant incoming
i wanna scream
first exam i got back, maths (one of my two advanced classes) i kinda messed up cause i was sick when taking it and actually forgot a whole task and couldnt concentrate. so i made a lot of mistakes.
and now i got back my english presentation (the other advanced classes), and ive got 13 (out of 15). which is equal to probably an A-? idk how other grades work. and im not per se annoyed with the grade, im just pissed cause my ADVANCED english class has such a low standard omg. and my teacher gave everyone 10 or more. the average is 11.7. and some people cant even pronounce anger.
She took off points for things i apparently did wrong (which i didnt do wrong and she didnt specify) and she obviously was way harder on my and my close friends presentation than on others cause some of those presentations? that was wild. one guy (in the advanced class. he didnt have to take it. he knew the requirements woud be higher than at base level) and he actually ended his presentation with the sentence, and i quote, “how can we kill the racism into the extinction?” and i have, if he has the worst grade of my class, only 3 points more.
my teacher took off points for the design of my handout. for which the requirements were “neat and appropriate”. i had a perfectly formatted document with zero issues in how neat and organised it was or how appropriate it was for the topic i had.
i am so pissed thats not fucking fair. she took off points the same amount of points for things where my friend and i had different problems. i got two points taken off for one thing, my friend too, even though she had three more negative notes on that point???? meanwhile we took a similar amount of time, and she got full points for the time frame, while i got two taken off for talking for to long
okay im less angry now i just still want to scream
