Its My Life." and i think so many of us needed to hear that. its so important we see art and representation like this it feels empowering bc like Yeah she's gone and now I'm here. I'm alive and u can't make me live a lie. truthfully i dont even know many songs about being a trans boy and seeing one with one of my all time favorite characters thats so steeped in confidence and pride makes me so happy. ive experienced feeling like im "taking my parents daughter away" even tho im not even out and this song literally flips that fully around from guilt into something you should be proud of, you survived and the real you is alive now. flavor foley u genius

Imma share a serious take and where I stand that I usually don't share on media.

I FUCKING HATE ICE AND IT'S SUPPORTERS

I have hated it since that expired orange first took office and still hate it strongly. As a latino who was born in america with parent's who immigrated here in hopes of giving me and my brother a better future. I still recall the first time i heard of ice and it was back to when I was only 10 when the news stated that ice was going to deport people by the oranges orders I remembered feeling fear for the first time even if i was a legal citizen even the fear my mother had when the news spread it was scary, the idea of being seperated by my own parents at such a young age, worrying about anything going wrong at school and coming home to no mom or dad or even being taken away from them. This is a fear yet reality a lot of people go through here in america all becuase of a different skintone and dehumanized as these "animals" from white people to even our own people who belive this is good for us.

It genuinely disgusts me when folks(especially who are immigrants and people of color) support and congratulate this violent behavior towards countless of innocent lives everyday causing fear if one will make it to tomorrow or if they will still be safe when sleeping, not only bring fear to folks but also hurt them physically whether it be killing them,assulting them,separating families,even to taking them falsely accused to jail. You don't even have to be an adult to be brutally hurt clearly they had no shame in stooping low to a child

I'm not gonna sugar coat this, IT TOOK UNTIL A US WHITE CITIZEN DIED BY THE HANDS OF ICE for more folks to speak up but we're silent before on all the other cases where it was people of color or "illegal aliens" plus THIS COUNTRY IS STOLEN LAND SO WHY ARE WE CLAIMING " they came here illegally" when this land itself was stolen. Citizen or not you are still affected and if you can't notice that then I'm sorry but you're too privileged. Why are we bringing obama into the argument when someone brings up the cruel actions of this jackass. While yes obama did deport more people in his terms of office HE DID NOT make them go through a cruel and unjust method like now, and even then if you still wish to compare obama PRIORITIZED IN DEPORTING THOSE WHO HAD A CRIMINAL RECORD however today's people ARE INNOCENT LIVES. Religion is NEVER an excuse to treat others cruel and is a BULLSHIT OF AN EXCUSE for folks to hide their racism and hatred all because of someone having what a different skin tone
