I doubt I'll ever trust Clexa Con again. I mean, the blatant ableism, transphobia, treatment of POC and just flat out unethical business practices they used to take advantage of queer fans over the years (I could go on, I turned into a whole investigative journalist over that mess)... It's not something I think I can look past.

That being said I hope that with all the new people they brought on after me and others exposed them that it was a good weekend for attendees and the guests. First Kill and Batwoman (the fans and the stars) especially deserve to be celebrated.

I've had so many conflicting feelings this past weekend.

P.s. were there any COVID protocols in place? I've been at much smaller cons with very strict policies (mandatory vaccines AND masked in all con spaces) and 20+ cases still came out. I recommend lots of testing and if you feel a tickle in your throat, please don't be around anyone, especially anyone vulnerable.
