Time to gush about a specific concept AGAIN

As Gregory begins to acknowledge his feelings for me and we hang out more frequently, (maybe we accidently brush paws sometimes and then LONG in secrecy) he suddenly becomes distant. Immediately I start to ask around the hotel if anything happened, if he brought up his mom recently, or just something!! But, I begin to realize that he only acts that way around ME. “Did I- Did I do something?” I try and ask for answers but he just doesn’t answer, taking off. I find myself falling down a small depression pit for a little while over it.

Meanwhile, Gregory is trying SO hard not to tell me everything! He wants to be truthful about the soul stealing and his mom and just everything!! But he’s SO afraid. After years of disapproval from his family \, why anyone truly WANT him like? He KNOWS he should tell me the truth but what if I hate him or leave?? So, for a little while, at least, he keeps up a wall. It ends up being broken, after seeing the way I’ve noticably suffered from it. He realizes that no matter what has happened with his mom in the past, I must care. I’m wasting away in my hotel room over it! 

Eventually, he comes into my room and breaks the truth about things to me, confessing that he really cares but wants me to go back to reality since that would be better for me.(Wouldn’t it?)
