So. Today is the day. The day of the rest of my life. I have created a new corporation, and a new LLC to begin again. A new corporation to take over the contracts, and a new LLC to take over the assets from our original company from 2003.

It felt extremely sad to begin this task, and to be honest, i even took on a minimum wage job for the last few weeks, putting off setting up these new companies. Why? I dunno, i had the money. I just didn’t see th point. Like, what? To fail again?

But , as I’ve finished getting the filings completed and obtaining the new EIN’s, i have a new ‘energy’ to get it done —-

But, more importantly, I am feeling excited! Excited at the letting go of the old and being able to bring in the new —

Kind of like when you’re building out your new website, or your new portal —- it’s all done in a new domain name or a new web address, then ‘moving day’ happens when it all goes live —

It’s exhausting, frustrating, endless amounts of talking over board and executive tables, planning on zoom calls with our teams, then BAM - it’s actually live, and although quirks and bugs need worked out ( l have locked out my online DOR account not remembering my secret questions, having to remember what tax id’s we need or don’t need, what local licenses, insurance , …..) , your idea has legs, and it’s being acted out in real life outside of your mind, and its EXHILARATING.

I love fixing and creating things. I think that’s why i love working in technology. There are always things being created and things that need to get fixed.

Then this message comes up, and i can totally relate, and these listed steps are certainly good frameworks to build from and to keep your mind set right.

Get out of the why, and get to the how to.
