Had another argument with my brother about whitewashing and as usual he just kept coming up with excuses for why it was ‘okay’ and that he didn’t care. To which I responded that he didn’t care because he is a straight white man and has never know oppression and how disheartening (read: unfair and bullshit) it is to never see yourself represented in film/tv. He just stormed off :/

Someone with money should start a new E-sport where players race remote-controlled full-sized racecars decked out with whatever weapons and performance boosts they want. It’d be like battle bots but at 200 mph and I would watch the hell out of that. There could be like bonus stuff that you can get from subscribing like access to live-feeds from dash-cams and getting mailed a piece of the inevitable wreckage.
