question, what kind of relationship are yuu and crowley going to have ?

A very, very complicated one as time goes on and things develop.

It's actually difficult to try and boil it down to anything (fittingly, the seventh most difficult relationship to really define in Larks if you ask me and that's saying something).

For now as of the time of the prologue Yuu has their skepticism and natural distrust from home, but for what it's worth they do respect his authority as a host to a guest under the laws of hospitality and they're not exactly keen in setting him off or anything. They just don't want him looking too closely, especially taking Soleil aka The Knight of The Dawn into account, the fact Yuu is very intentionally keeping that fact from as many people as they can get away with for as long as possible, the death induced amnesia he has and the silly little conundrum that is having an extremely significant figure to TWST's history as a metaphysical roommate just casually being around for most of their life. But we'll get there when we get there lol.

In the meantime, Crowley has his own thing going on but we'll get more into his head and his interactions with Yuu as time goes on, at the time of the prologue he's just making sure to fulfill the bare minimum as a host with some level of duty to an unusual student. He hasn't figured out how he feels about them yet besides some uneasiness coming from the words of The Dark Mirror in the ceremony, him, Yuu (with Soleil as a plus one) and the student populace all interpreted what it said VERY differently.

Though I can't elaborate too much on that in general because of spoilers that much I'll leave out there so I'll cease my yapping, just know that for all my own criticisms towards Crowley as an educator and some of his choices as a character I do really love him as a character (heck the same can be said for all of the TWST cast) and while Yuu is harsh, they're not heartless enough to be rude towards someone who gave them a roof over their head and a meal (even with strings attached), it will be rough but it'll be at least stable given time ^^.

I will say though: for all of their gripes and general distrust, if nothing else Yuu will always say if asked that compared to their complicated circumstances back home and whoever was on the other end of Soleil's leash when he was alive and whole, Crowley really is quite generous and benevolent indeed even if the bar ain't exactly too high to clear (even if his incompetence/habit of dodging responsibilities like a champ is giving PTSD to their emotional support undead knight that neither of them even knew he could get with the amnesia at this point and they're still a bit miffed over the 'Not telling them the building was haunted and make the ghosts live in deplorable conditions' thing lol).

how string is/was the knight of dawn on your Au ? I mean he held his own against overbloted meleanor !

That'd be telling~ We'll get to explore that more as the story goes on (as well as Meleanor's Overblot).

Let's just say that there's a reason he rose to the rank of general at a fairly young age for humans and that there's quite a few benefits (and downsides) to being raised by fairies.

Do you plan to invalide some of the side stories in yout fic ?

Not quite! it'll depend on how I can integrate them into Like Lark Notes From the Sky and if I can tie them back to the main themes and overall concepts of the story (among other things I'm keeping myself from yapping from because of spoilers, again, every choice is made for a reason and I've been combing carefully through all I have before selecting what will be properly explored and what will not be mentioned).

Some of them will be integrated, others will not, however I'm not necessarily going to invalidate them unless they explicitly go against the decisions I'm making to have the story work and whether or not they'll be relevant for future Overblot arcs (plus a little thing I'm cooking up that I'm not speaking about yet, but is actually starting to be properly integrated starting the next chapter in the works that will be important to the overarching narrative. I can't promise anything since this year has been a mess and all I could really work on when I had space to breathe were the main outlines and drafts up to Scarabia and Post Scarabia {aka the first half of the story and it's transition into the second act, plus events on the side} that I'm not quite satisfied with and will probably rework before doing anything else so it's not messy, but if all goes well and irl doesn't throw a brick at my head it should be out either during Halloween or when the TWST manga releases). If they're not relevant or contradict things I can't properly rework or polish then I'll either clarify or set them aside as needed.

can twst fae steal names like yuu and the good neighbors? Is yes, is it illegal now?

...Will Yuu steal anyone else's name?

Yes at least in Like Lark Notes From the Sky (though I have an ongoing crack theory/headcanon going that that's the reason Malleus didn't want to tell us his name in the earlier chapters and opted to use a nickname instead because he didn't want to go through all the hassle of finding verbal loopholes, he's a Draconia after all, not only would someone stealing his name be Very Very Bad {and also make the Thorn Fairy claw her way out of her burial mound just to give her descendants a piece of her mind} but also he was taught he's above the entire thing. Just an ongoing headcanon of mine though lol). There's some technicalities to it that I'll touch more on when we actually get conversations going between the Diasomnia cast and Yuu because they are very different types of fae and Yuu's case is an outlier even within their own species and thus they work on very different sets of rules and morality.

On the spirit of keeping with fae legalese I'll just say this: technically everything's legal so long as you don't get caught and no one outs you :)

who were/was the fae that adopted the knight of dawn ?

Three members from the Diurnal Fairies (the same ones he calls out to in game when facing Meleanor for example) at least in Like Lark Notes From the Sky and we'll get more into them there. The Knight of the Dawn in Like Lark Notes was an orphan, yes, but he was taken in by the fae for a period of his life before he was sent to the Leia's and Henrick's kingdom; every choice about his story is very deliberate and there's some twisted (hah) mirroring between his inspirations and my own personal headcanons/crack theories about his entire deal, about how the system in the kingdom might have worked back then to try and make the fae war timeline make sense with what Lilia gave us, as well as how the fae in Twisted Wonderland might work because the thing about writing a character that's peripheral to the main story is that you kind of have no choice but to fill in the gaps yourself and it's definitely a challenge, but I've been doing my best to keep it coherent/at least a little realistic ^^.

are fae similar/the same as the fae from yuu's world or are fae back home more 'wild'/old ?

In Like Lark Notes the Twisted Wonderland Fae have some similarities/common points, but since Twisted Wonderland while still being unforgiving it's still a 'kinder' world, so they evolved differently (generally you'll find slightly more wild fae in the Night Fae {aka Briar Valley/Diasomnia} than in the Diurnal Fae, there's a reason for that and we also see in the game that Lilia would probably be the best example of that 'wildness' back in the war), but the Fae from Yuu's are definitely more 'wild' and old and as a result more disconnected from humanity. Yuu had a rough go of it in their younger years even with Soleil there (especially since you can technically attribute the death of Yuu's human mother to them, which they never quite forgave their own kin about even if they don't have the choice to reject them and they've been at a stalemate about it for a long time.) That's a bit of nuance we'll get more into in Like Lark Notes itself.

Do you have any plans to write about the playful land event ? Also any thoughts about it ?

Yes, I have plans to write about as many of the events as I can in between the Like Lark Notes arcs before we get to the final act (mostly because I don't want parts of Books 8 to wreck my outline again the same way parts of Book 7 did). If I have to say anything about Playful Land in Like Lark Notes is that it's probably the third straw before the camel's back breaks for Yuu and in turn for Soleil (because trying to turn being so disconnected from humanity that can see through lies and deception carrying another soul in their existence that has a ton of unaddressed trauma and PTSD that he was just starting to recover from thanks to amnesia and Isekai shenanigans and basically relapsed into a wooden puppet, is a very, very bad idea and will not be fun for anyone involved), the other ones being Fairy Gala and Glorious Masquerade.

It's been a while since I read it so forgive me if my memory's foggy, but for me Playful Land feels like it could have been stronger simply because we glossed over Fellow's actions too quickly (like yes, he had Gino in the equation and I honestly can kind of squint and see where he's coming from {listen, education is expensive in my country okay?}, but also he did just help with a black market all for the sake of profit for who knows how long, I can respect the hustle but also my guy we need some proper consequences for you) and that honestly just makes me sigh because I expected more out of the event most tangentially related to Pinocchio (as someone who grew up both with the original story and the Disney movie) and I just feel like the overall resolution could have been better, otherwise it was an enjoyable event but not really the strongest narrative-wise for me. Doesn't mean I won't write it in for Like Lark Notes (because the outline and Yuu's arc kind of demands it) it's just not my favorite of the Halloween events lol.

which arc are you the most exited to write about ?

Depends if we're talking first half, second half or events.

If we're talking first half: Octavinelle (I'm definitely having a lot of fun plotting out how Yuu, Leona, Azul and the Leech Twins will interact. As well as some fun stuff between Soleil and some of the Night Raven staff as well as Diasomnia members.)

Second half: Tie between Ignihyde and Diasomnia.

Events: A tie between Fairy Gala (for lore reasons) and Glorious Masquerade (anyone who knows any bit about the link between irish history, mythology and religion will probably have a good guess why, a little factoid: at least half of the Lebor Gábala Érenn starts with the actual Book of Genesis {*laughs hysterically in I just wanted to do research for my fic and next thing I know the medieval monks attacked*}, I really wish I was joking, there's some stuff going on).
