Not to go on a tangent about Stranger Things writing but the scene where Billy kidnaps Heather from the pool makes zero sense, actually??
Did Billy hide Heather somewhere at the pool, unconscious for several hours? Or did Billy somehow hide her in the trunk of his car? How did he get her from the pool to the car without anyone noticing?
How do we go from presumably afternoon sun to well past sunset?
But, what? How did any of that happen? None of this is logical. In July, the sunset in Indiana is around 9:13 pm.
The pool was absolutely packed with people and Heather went into the (staff?) showers to check on Billy.
He drags her in the stall with him and presumably knocks her unconscious since we see some blood on her head later (even though the injury doesn't match what we see here).
Were they the only two life guards on duty at the pool that day? Good thing there were no medical emergencies and no one drowned.
Where did he hide her body while the pool was open? Because I assume he waited to carry her unconscious body to his car?
How hard did he hit her that she was presumably unconscious for several hours and yet she suffered no lasting damage?
It is incredible no one noticed anything was wrong with Billy, tbh.
