I getcha, you're not the only friend of mine who's content to let their friends do the kid having. I just have such a strong drive to nurture that, while pets are good for holding me over until I'm Ready to have kids and I'll definitely always HAVE them, I feel a bit empty when I'm not looking after my little nephew and I'm just WAITING for my chance to have my own kids, adopted or biological. I definitely understand the other side, though, even if I can't relate.
