The curse that I’ve increased the number of bookshelf’s available for me to place my books on. But. I’m still not going to have enough room in sure
#I’m looking at my shelves. I haven’t even put the newer books on it#like. oof#I’ve got like. three shelves with the right books in there#like sorted wise#before I had all my comics and manga together#now I’m gunna have to split it up#I’m hoping. bc one shelf is smaller. I can put all the comics on the smaller one#bc I have less comics than I do manga and light novels#I’ve changed my sci-fi/fantasy shelf to be more franchise books. so Star Wars/trek. all my dw books. lotr (I have these really nice copies)#etc etc. and then I’ve dedicated a shelf at the bottom of the smaller one for books that are from problematic people bc of the ever present#question of what to do with stories I love but that are made by shitty people#but anyways. we’re making progress#once I have books in loosely the right places. we can start putting my buckets of nicnacks back too#which is its own can of worms but#I think so far things are working out well#I’m just hoping this all won’t take as long as it’s going to bc ooof#I still have more books to bring in too BDJDJ#I don’t consider myself someone who like. cares too heavily on books in terms of editions or condition#but like. man I will hoard books too much#I’m really gunna start trying. once all my books are organized. to start actually reading all the shit.#I’m literally tempted to just go thru by shelf. reading everything#I inherited a bunch of mystery novels a few years back#and I’ve been meaning to read and donate the ones I end up not caring for#gah lots of books#50/50 books still end up sitting in piles on the ground at the end of this
