i love y’all’s analyses here, but, in my case, The Water Playlist’s symbolism is nothing so sophisticated. It’s entirely made up of songs by the Mountain Goats, who happen to have a lot of songs about water, to the point that i was like “okay, water symbolizes memory for the purpose of this playlist” and here we are!
