ALESSANDRA BLACKWOOD ( SHE/HER ) is a CISFEMALE, THIRTY-SIX year old ARCHAEOLOGY PROFESSOR who has been living in Moorbrooke for THIRTY-SIX YEARS (ON AND OFF). They were born on JUNE 7TH and right now, they are currently residing in REDGRAVE GROVE. It has been said that they look suspiciously like ADELAIDE KANE and if they had to choose a song to describe themselves, they would choose SOME NIGHTS by FUN.

the daughter of a woman who (to put it nicely) was strict and overbearing to a fold, alessandra had plenty of expectations put on her despite her older brother theo’s best efforts at taking the brunt of it. often times her mother would force her to play the piano for hours at a time until she got the piece in question right, one can only imagine what her expectations were when it came to the young girl’s grades.
aless marched along to the demands and expectations her mother set for her…at least for the most part anyways. in high school she managed to sneak out in order to hang out with her friends and actually have fun, going to games that her mother told her she couldn’t go to, yet somehow managed to keep her grades up. as long as she kept her grades up, and practiced her music, her mother for the most part left her alone.
to appease her mother she went to college to pursue music, and even scored a music scholarship, but whilst living in the dorms she started to realize what she really wanted. she changed her degree to archeology, which ticked off her mother to no end. for the first time she actually thought for herself.
worked her way through the necessary avenues to become a professor of archaeology whilst she worked on digs, interning at a museum for a couple of years in cairo, egypt.
missed home too much so she decided to move back home permanently and work as an archeology professor at moorbrooke university. she’s able to teach something she loves, whilst being close to her brother, brother-in-law and kids.
she’s definitely inspired by evie carnahan from the first 2 mummy films and indiana jones (with a smidge of lara croft tbh), elizabeth bennet from pride, prejudice and zombies, and alec hardison from leverage.
