So much today! I skipped my 8am class today because I was exhausted, but managed to get up by 9am and head to the library.

Wrote ~2000 words today (between a French dissertation final & final paper).

Went to French class, then grabbed a late lunch and went to town to work.

Read Their Eyes Were Watching God

I overheard two older gentleman having a heated conversation about the father-like/patron role that God models in the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible, and couldn’t help but ask if they had any recommendations of sources on that subject.

I ended up sitting down with them for an hour to talk about my final paper, which is on the ethics of creation and depends deeply on Old Testament literature! They both love to yap, but I learned so much, and got both of their emails (they’re profs and one is the editor of a theology journal).

Going to dinner with a friend next, then finishing my reading.
