obsessed with the recent linguistic shift on here from "blorbo" to "the character". it has such an impactful energy to it opposed to the lighthearted nature of blorbo. like you don't wven need to say who it is. its The Character.

if you didn't already know, some of the file names in echo's game data are just really great
this is actually the funniest shit ever because just imagine them like in practice and Andrew doubles over in net, hands on knees, coughing his lungs out. Aaron is stood next to him asking what other symptoms he's had; Nicky has seen this before and is always telling Andrew not to let it get to this point but he's still tense and keeps asking Andrew unhelpful questions; Kevin is asking him in between wheezes if he'll be able to finish practice; Neil is telling Kevin to shut up while also being annoyed because any other day of the week Andrew would look for any excuse to skip practice but today, the one day Neil suggested staying in the dorms, he had to make a point of showing up.
AND THEN there's Allison who's kind of frozen and squinting at the whole scene not sure how to react (because she's not supposed to care but also-), Matt who looks about ready to run to the locker room to call an ambulance and Dan, poor Dan, who's wide eyed as hell and tries to make her way over there only to get pulled back by Neil. she asks Wymack if they should cancel practice and gets a solid "No" from both Neil and Kevin
even after a conversation with Neil and Aaron in which they both told him to go lay down, it took a nonnegotiable "get the fuck off my court and get yourself in bed" from Coach to actually get him to leave
back at the dorms, later, once it becomes clear that there isn't anything seriously wrong with Andrew, Allison resumes her idgaf attitude but Dan and Matt aren't so easily reassured. Dan spends the evening wondering if she should check on them. eventually she ends up sending Renee over (with soup) to do surveillance and report back (smooth Wilds) and only then is she able to relax and realize Andrew is perhaps not going to die
