HEHEHE BABY TRINE MY BELOVED!!!!! Here is. Some Context for that drawing :)))

SO. This scene happens pretty early into thier 6th grade year, when they’re all around 11/12 years old.

Up until that point, Starscream’s childhood had been a little… let’s say abnormal :) At that point in her life, the only friends she’d ever had were kids or adults who were either literally paid to put up with her, or were coerced into doing so under threat of social exclusion from upper class circles.

Because of this, Starscream never really learned the concept of consequences to her actions when she was anywhere other than her home. Upon being unceremoniously dropped into the public schooling system, she very quickly learned that she couldn’t be an asshole to everyone all the time, because that led to getting beat up by the older siblings of her victims after school (the scar on her face had to come from somewhere, after all!).

She learned to mind her words after a little bit, but one of the times, it went a little too far, and she ended up with a pretty deep scratch in her cheek, BUT! Before she knew it, her assailants had been chased off by two girls, after the shorter one threatened to call one of her moms (who just happened to be a firefighter).

Enter TC and Skywarp :3! They’d seen Star around and sort of knew her quick reputation for being a jerk, but TC has a bleeding heart of gold, and they weren’t going to just stand around and watch her get beat up, so they decided to extend the olive branch.

Starscream took it with a characteristic amount of suspicion, and at first, only hung out with them because she felt like she owed them for getting her out of trouble, but quickly became genuinely enamored by them. For some reason, TC took all of her verbal assault in stride, and Skywarp never took anything she said seriously, and it just kinda flipped a switch in her one day from “these are the idiots I hang around because I have to” to “these are my idiots I hang around because I want to”.

TC and Skywarp taught her how to interact with other people in like,, a normal way, and they very slowly showed her how love and affection can make positive relationships, actually. They were endlessly patient and because of that, forever earned Starscream’s loyalty, lol. By the time they got to high school, Starscream had certainly mellowed out into someone who was only kind of an asshole some of the time (when everyone else was wrong).

Skywarp and TC met in kindergarten, and became instantly glued at the hip bahah. They just clicked, and Skywarp did her best to bring out the fun side in the typically anxious TC, while TC tried to keep Warp out of trouble. It was a great dynamic, and they wholeheartedly dragged Starscream into it with a level of persistence that was definitely required (but they knew it would be worth it! Everyone knew Starscream was smart, after all, and TC really wanted to find out why she didn’t have any friends).

Tl;dr, Starscream was a hot mess and meeting TC and Skywarp refined her into something Better :) they make each other better!! And they’ve definitely got it together More than they did in 6th grade by junior year beheh. I am unsure of if any of that made sense but,, THANK YOU FOR THE ASK!!!!!

looking at the solution for the final of the subject i failed and that i have recus tomorrow and like. wtf man sure it's super easy if you come up with the brilliant idea you just presented to me only problem it's what we call una fumada so. fuck me i guess
