I am now experiencing infinite emotions about Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian being brothers while on the run
Jiang Cheng says Ge but it was for the ruse, obviously, and both of them are having nothing but the most normal feelings about any of this. They start telling people about their home life, and it starts out very simply with Our Sister, who is easy to describe and tell stories about, and then we get to Our Father, and things become weird, but when Our Mother hits. Hah.
#always on some level thinking about novel jc's insistence that WWX and mianmian are NOT an appropriate match#because Yanli peels him lotus seeds#when we know that is also a thing she does for Jiang Cheng#especially when she thinks he's upset and needs comforting#like... the layers#the scope#the frankly psychosexual damage that has undoubtably been inflicted on all three of these children#by way of apparently regular fights about whether JFM fucked Wei Wuxian's mom#juxtaposed with his place at their dinner table
