Tim having so many fics where his parents are written to be abusive/willing to hurt him when at least Jack's character(cause tbh Janet doesn't get a chance to have much character-) in the comics is just worrying about where the heck his son keeps running off to and stressing is both sad and hilarious
Hilarious in the fact there's probably lot more fics with that premise out there then ones about Bernard's parents.
And Bernard's dad canonically told him that it been better if he was never born.
