I love Connecticut 💕
I am at the BDL airport in Connecticut. We came in last night at 1:30am and spent the night at the hotel inside the airport. I woke up at 10am and went downstairs to get a coffee and I found out my flight is delayed an hour and a half so I decided to get Breakefast/lunch at the hotel diner.
The guy at the Starbucks told me I look like Ann Hathaway. Specifically he said I looked “Like that Princess Diaries girl” and when the guy behind him laughed he said “What! It’s a good movie!” Very nice guy makes very bad coffee. 10/10.
I was the only person in the entire huge restaurant/lobby, giving me strong Hotel California vibes. So I sat at the bar and the bartender was so nice. He talked to me about sports. I don’t watch sports. He said he likes womens sports better then men’s. A++ bartending.
I ordered the Lobster rolls and they were 90% butter. You could tell they sautéed the lobster in butter. Amayzing. Served on a soft toasted roll with lemon aioli and butter lettuce. They clearly added more butter to the roll and then tosted it so it would be crispy on the outside. Perfection.
The chef came out and delivered it to me himself (no one was there but me lol I think he was bored) he said I have amayzing eyebrows.
100/10 I hope I come back here again soon.
