When you just got off a 9 hour flight from Rome and your flight from EWR to ORD is delayed 5 hours and your mother has just about had it with you.

I am at the BDL airport in Connecticut. We came in last night at 1:30am and spent the night at the hotel inside the airport. I woke up at 10am and went downstairs to get a coffee and I found out my flight is delayed an hour and a half so I decided to get Breakefast/lunch at the hotel diner.
The guy at the Starbucks told me I look like Ann Hathaway. Specifically he said I looked “Like that Princess Diaries girl” and when the guy behind him laughed he said “What! It’s a good movie!” Very nice guy makes very bad coffee. 10/10.
I was the only person in the entire huge restaurant/lobby, giving me strong Hotel California vibes. So I sat at the bar and the bartender was so nice. He talked to me about sports. I don’t watch sports. He said he likes womens sports better then men’s. A++ bartending.
I ordered the Lobster rolls and they were 90% butter. You could tell they sautéed the lobster in butter. Amayzing. Served on a soft toasted roll with lemon aioli and butter lettuce. They clearly added more butter to the roll and then tosted it so it would be crispy on the outside. Perfection.
The chef came out and delivered it to me himself (no one was there but me lol I think he was bored) he said I have amayzing eyebrows.
100/10 I hope I come back here again soon.

Um I just discovered a channel called Pasta Grannies on YouTube and. it’s all I could have ever hoped for. It’s all these little old Italian ladies who want to show how they make there traditional pastas. It’s my favorite. I could watch it all day.

Soo apparently one of the customers On a flight of mine sent an email to the company saying “She was very pleasant and professional”.
That was literally all he wrote and my company sent me an email thanking me for being a good representative for the company and my supervisor also sent me an email saying congratulations and letting me know he would put it in my employee file.
And I would like to say if you ever run into a employee of any kind and you think they are great, sending a message to the company they work for saying how much you appreciate them is really nice. If you want to include what they did that was so nice that is awesome. You can write a page or just “She was very pleasant and professional”.
I smiled all day about it.
Sometimes it’s just good to be home 😊 I have 4 days off this week and I am spending it puppy sitting for my sister. The snow was to pretty today, I thought I’de take a walk before it all melted.

Hey you guys I just wanted to share with you these super creepy alpaca plushies I got from a street vender. I can’t remember which state I was in, Maybe Seattle? Anyway so I was walking through a marketplace when I came across a table filled with different animal plushies all made with real alpaca hair and I thought oh that’s cute.
But they were all really expensive and the guy explained to me that they were all hand made in a little town in Peru from leftover hair that is collected by an older women after they make all the alpaca fur coats and blankets.
So I said that’s cool but I’m poor so have a nice day. But he says well, I do have these guys I can give you for cheaper. And he pulls out these two demon dolls that were clearly used in some form of occult ceremony and explains that when they went through customs coming into America, customs had suspected that the dolls were filled with drugs. So they cut out all the eyes and slit open around 1,000 plushies in order to check. But he assured me that they had never found any drugs.
So I bought them thinking I would fix them and I still haven’t gotten around to it. So until I can get them some eyes they remain as they are. They have seen many horrors in there lives and it shows clearly in there dark, empty, eye sockets.
Early morning mist vs. after the mist was gone. It was terrifying to walk up the mountains in the gray void not knowing how high up we really were, only to have the mist suddenly blow away to reveal exactly how afraid of heights I am OMG I could have died!! It was beautiful.
Walking around the Blue Mountains Park in the early morning. So beautiful and misty. I fully expected one of us to be carried off by a Pterodactyl or at least a large parrot.

Please enjoy these super natural and not at all posed pics of me and my sister. We dressed up to eat fish and chips during the sunset on Bondi Beach. 🇦🇺 if you ever have the chance I recommend dressing fancy to eat fish and chips on a beach it is magical.
Also I recommend always traveling with a selfie stick that doubles as a tripod with a Bluetooth shutter so you can be super extra when taking selfies.
16 flight hours down and 4 to go. Trying to survive our 5 hour layover in LAX.
🇦🇺 My first time out of the country!!!! My sister Dixie and I decided last minute to go to Australia and It was amazing. We landed in Sydney and took the trains and busses all over exploring the beaches and the Blue Mountains. These pictures are all from the Mahon beach Pools.
