It was always like this, being one of the Favonius knights meant that he had to help the people of Mondstadt (not that he was complaining). But of course that meant keeping them safe from foreign and domestic disasters...one of them being a certain little girl...

          “Captain Albedo...”

The knight pinched the bridge of his nose as he looked over at the current exploded mess just in the distance and then back to the alchemist.

          “May I have a word?”

“ relax, kid, ” alice says, gently tapping on a portion of the table not occupied by various elixirs and materials to get xyr attention. “ my stuff is yours. i trust you. ” they didn’t much like rhinedóttir, but there was no way she didn’t train albedo to know xyr way around a lab (even if this lab was just alice’s kitchen past klee’s bedtime). “ now, if you could hand me that dead leyline branch ... ”

diluc always trying to get xem to eat while xe work and albedo just opens up without even looking a what he’s feeding xem this isn’t surprising in the slightest

Comforting Cuddles Starters

Childe hums from his position atop Albedo, head resting on xyr chest to listen to xyr slow, rhythmic heartbeat. He has a single finger wrapped in a lock of ashy blond hair as he soaks in the feeling of hands holding his back. It feels... nice. Like a home he hasn’t been to in almost a decade.

              He feels safe.

Ajax raises himself a tad with his forearms so he can angle his head to meet Albedo’s gaze and he can’t help his usual fond smile. Xe could always draw a soft fondness from the Harbinger.

“Guess I must be pretty special, huh?”

“I’m gonna lay down and die for like half hour okay?”

“maybe don’t though?” aether suggested instead- he didn’t understand how albedo was going to die for half an hour then return... he must have been missing something, and he looked quite confused, trying to piece it together. brows were knit, a small frown on his face as he wrinkled his nose. “i mean.... you can’t... just die and then decide not to be dead... can you?”
