“Dazai, please― don’t leave me.”

“An angel is crying for me.”

Chuuya lifted Dazai’s head and held him tighter in his arms.

“Don’t waste your energy. Don’t say anything. Just stay awake till help comes.”

He let out a shaky laugh at the impossible request.

“Chuuya-“

“Dazai please,” the executive whispered as tears fell onto his face.

“Don’t leave me.”

The pressure against his wound increased, and yet, blood continued to flow, staining their clothes as well as Chuuya’s fingers.

“Please don’t cry.”

A muffled sob followed a trembling exhale.

“How could I not.”

Dazai blinked several times before relaxing.

“Dying in your arms is actually much better than committing a lovers’ suicide.”

Through his tears, Chuuya scoffed.

“Is this supposed to make me feel better?”

Exhaling, the brunet smiled.

“Who can say, Chuuya.”

He closed his eyes.

“I just want to you to be happy.”
