“Polaroid Legacy” Work in progress... playing around different ideas in the same work. I Came up with the idea of incorporating the Polaroid photo as a reflection with older generations and how they might feel getting older as days goes by.... I referred my study of work with some iconic Johnny Cash photos and incorporated into a series of Polaroid photos as it would be the instant photos taking of a night out. The instagram of back then. “Flipping the bird of getting older” That feeling of authenticity and spontaneously capturing the moment as it is, i find it very appealing and how history can be past on to next generation. I remember as a kid playing with a Polaroid camera that my mum used to have and being so fascinating with how instant developed photo could be done soo quickly. Now it might feel like dinosaurs to the younger generation of today, I am assuming, but the truth is It’s ok to remember good memories about the past and where we came from. How humains have become addicted to the technology have made great improvement in our society and what we have become, but a part of me wants to feel more authentic to myself and I feel going back in time make me feel like a reset button. Anyhow, good for thoughts. Cheers! #polaroid #polaroidlegacy #liketheolddays #johnnycash #flippingthebird (at Pointe-Saint-Charles) https://www.instagram.com/p/CG0tpHcn4C1/?igshid=1j2wzyebr0imn
