What a trilling and beautiful coincidence of meeting @jagmeetsingh during my walk with my dog Rango. It’s like the gravitational force of the world bring the people you need closer to you when you need it the most. Few days ago, I was painting at that exact same location telling myself: “How to fight these injustices? Who will take my art seriously when I put these injustice on a container bin? Ironically... I never seen my artwork so close to the garbage!! But I believe it. It’s a powerful statement! “ What most people don’t know is being a self-working artist, I struggled soo much in my own! How can I help others when I am struggling to sell my own work and can’t put food on my table? Many months of doubts later... this question seem to be more clear now... But the true is this man @jagmeetsingh fought for my financial stability and he got the money I needed to go thru this hard time! I wouldn’t be even close to where I am today. What makes a great leader is able to envision the future and do action today! And he’s doing just that! So one of my latest work was “The last Pizza” . I made it for a local pizza shop @pizzacharlevoix who decided to give away free pizza just before the Ramada start. So it inspired me to do this artwork so I can give it back to my community. My work made me reflect about who was the main reason of why I have food on my table... and decided to put @jagmeetsingh at the center of the table because He fought for a person like me and gave me hope when most people didn’t. It’s a start to minimize the gap between the rich and poor. So I thank you soo much! All your debates at the parlement and facing criticism, was worth it and I thank you 🙏 “I have a dream” I did 2 containers with @geantduconteneur so far... there is many injustices to tackle and I’d like to make 100 more containers and ship them all across our country.
