Moving day was a pain.

Hoseok and you had made tons of beautiful, glorious, lofty plans for when you would finally move into your first own house - not a dorm, not an apartment, a real house; the house you had saved up so long for and that you both wanted to become the place that you would forever associate with your new beginning, your new life, your next big step.

The place where you would truly become a family, however many people that would include.

You had signed the papers one week before you had signed your marriage registration and the move-in date happened to be three days after your wedding reception. At first you had insisted on just pushing it back until after the honeymoon.

Now you were extremely grateful for the vacation waiting at the end of this suffering.

“You okay, baby?” Hoseok peered at you over a box he was carrying from the moving van to the house. You were on your way back to grab more of whatever was going to join you in your new home.

How on earth did you have so much stuff between you?

“I’m fine, thanks, babe.” You smiled at him and Hoseok flashed you a wide grin. When he walked past you, you couldn’t help but follow him with your eyes - he was sweating to the point where he had ditched his shirt and wrapped a towel around his head. His shorts clung to his body and you could see his muscles work with every movement. You hadn’t married him for his looks, but quite frankly, in your unbiased opinion, everyone who didn’t agree that Hoseok was the most beautiful man in the entire universe was absolutely insane.

“I love you!” you yelled after him, earning yourself some amused looks from the movers and the friends who were helping you with the move.

Hoseok stopped and turned his head. “I love you more, wifey.”

You blushed at the silly pet name and jogged to the van with newly gained vigor. Giddy with happiness, and in love out of your damn mind, you grabbed the first thing that caught your eye without thinking. You stumbled down the ramp onto the sidewalk and started walking toward the house when you heard Minhyuk’s alarmed voice.

“What the fuck?”

Hyunwoo stopped in the house entrance and squinted into the sun, trying to figure out what he was looking at.

“Hoseok?” he finally called. “You might wanna come look at his.”

“What is it?” Hoseok asked, appearing at his side. He followed Hyunwoo’s outstretched finger and saw you - casually carrying the washing machine across the front lawn. He let out an amazed laugh and shook his head.

“Man, how is my wife more badass than me?”

“Yeah, no offense, hyung,” Changkyun commented, dragging a suitcase with one hand and holding a popsicle in the other. “Your wife is so much cooler than you.”

Hoseok laughed and crossed his arms in front of his naked chest. “You okay, baby?”

You set down the washing machine to smile at him, brighter than the sun. “Never been better, babe!”

And Hoseok thought that everyone who didn’t see that you were the most beautiful woman in the entire universe was absolutely insane.
