I listen to audiobooks at night. Books I have read, know and like. This gives me something to focus on when the brain is busy, and let me know that I really did sleep even though it didn't feel like it because I missed a chapter.

I've downloaded a white-noise maker app w/customization of sounds for it to help sleep, or I've listen to Neil DeGrasse Tyson's Star Talk podcast, as his voice is soothing to listen to. Both help for quieting my head in times similar to yours. :)
I have music that I listen to some nights, and I've done podfic and audiobooks too. I've always done audiobooks -- as a kid it was popples and coversational klingon and patrick stewart doing A Christmas Carol.
But the number one thing to help me sleep? the dulcet tones of my twin brother's echolalia. I am seriously considering asking my parents to record a night of it for me. It's immensely comforting.
