When you ask the cards about someone's motives and they just start reading 'em for filth left, right, and center. 💀💀

I just really fuckin love the Lilien Deck.
Every time you post your Lilien Deck, my heart breaks that I didn't nab one when i should've. 😫😫😫 It breaks, kez!
I'm sorrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyy.
I got the Lilien tarot deck a few months ago and was so excited about it, but haven’t really had the time-energy to touch it yet. Tonight I just happened to see the pouch they’re in spilled out a bit on my floor (disaster life) so I picked them up and shuffled them and decided to pull one card. The only thing I was thinking about when I pulled was my career. The perpetual question for me for four years now has been… do I go to law school? Closest one is 100 miles away, so a move with two kids. plus three years of me making no income, plus g-d knows how much more student loans, then a full summer of no job just bar studying, then the damn bar exam!, and then am I even cut out to be an attorney, like, energy-wise. Am I willing to be the person whose actual license is on the line, etc. But then, it’s a shot at increasing my earning potential a lot, and I feel like maybe I’m not meeting my ~gifted kid potential~, and the idea of being able to bring in an attorneys salary if spouse’s MS progresses and he can’t work is tempting as well.
So, all that in mind, I pulled one card… fanned them out and ran my hand gently over them until one popped out basically.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME
Per labyrinthos:
“When you combine your lofty ambitions with your determination, and almost singular focus, you’re sure to get what you want. Nothing quite scares you off, when it comes to your job. You’re likely to be excellent at what you do, going after your projects and completing them with almost ruthless efficiency. This may intimidate others sometimes, but this may not be a very big concern to you. If this doesn’t represent you right now, you may be called to use this Knight’s energy to go after something you want in your career. If you’ve had your sights on a promotion, a new job, or a particularly exciting project, go for it! Make a big move, and get someone’s attention. Be as determined and daring as the Knight of Swords, and you can find success.”
Well, fuck.
One loss kicked off an entire lifetime of striving to make up for it.
(( Why do they always want to start the day with @lamentedhope ? 😂🙃 ))
It’s going to be a profitable day in more ways than one.
While I fully understand the concept of this being an excellent outcome, it'd be nice for a change to not have to go through the fire every. single. time. to get there.
I would, however, like to acknowledge how amazingly casual Gabriel is leaning on his sword and probably fucking up everyone else’s everything with that trumpet though, as well as the fact that that’s the turning point card that takes me out of those exhausting swords.
