6. do you plan out areas of your island?
to a degree, yes. i usually map out the location of areas with vague descriptors of what i want for each area. i try not to plan too much in advance because i don’t want to feel like i’m beholden to any area / any map features. to me, animal crossing has always been about flux and constant change. the seasons come and go, villagers move in and out, and you grow. so i try to organize my thoughts, but not plan excessively, if that makes sense.
15. do you find it easier to decorate indoors or landscape outdoors?
oh gosh, actually, i find it way easier to landscape outdoors than indoors. which is sad because in new leaf, one of my favorite things to do is curate unique interior design. so i’m kinda playing around with harvey’s island in order to get a feel for the new design tools and furniture!
28. how often do you change your outfit?
all the time. alllll the time. i love collecting clothes in animal crossing and sometimes i like to tailor my outfit / aesthetic / hair / face to what i’m feeling and what i’m doing! i really like being able to change outfits and hair / features so easily! if i wasn’t able to do that, i would probably be more inclined to reset.
31. what’s one area you’d like to add to your island one day?
this is so so tough but i’m REALLY thinking about a colorful promenade leading from the campground to the museum area, with a cute wildflower garden and some artwork on display! i wanna fit it into the rural town aesthetic i have for chalet right now, so it’ll be a challenge!
