Hello! I recently engaged with the original Scandal in Bohemia, and it's given me some feelings as to what Mofftiss did with Irene Adler's character, and the atrocious way they responded to criticism. I recall Steven Moffat being quoted as saying something along the lines of "it's hardly like the original Irene Adler was very feminist herself" and I would like to quote him correctly I can't seem to find the direct quote. Do you know the quote I'm talking about? Thanks so much
Hi Lovely!
Ah.... I vaguely recall this quote but I don’t remember 100 what it was, just that he had an awful take on Irene’s character. Anyone know for certain what it was?
That said, yeah, it the grand scheme of things, given the turnout of the series: while I liked that they made her a mirror for Sherlock, at the end of all this, I dislike what they inevitably made her character be. *shrugs*
