The line of Leonardo DiCaprio's character flirting with Lilly Gladstone for the trailer of Killers of the Flower Moon gets me so badly.

"You know your skin is real pretty. That's a real pretty color. What color would you say that is?"

"My color."

It's a very complicated story. But god walking into a movie theatre and seeing a famous indigenous actress getting flirted with by one of Hollywood's most famous. Showing a white man adore a native womans skin. Lilly is so beautiful but she's also not a teeny tiny barely 20 Pocahontas looking type they expect from us. She's older and just so so beautiful and she gets to be in a Scorsce film alongside DiCaprio.

We don't see many depictions of interracial relationships from that era. Not on such a big platform. And especially not with so much hard hitting real pain and emotion. I'm so excited for this movie it's going to be so emotional.
