Lilly’s father was, well, boring. He was a local man Diana found in a nearby pub. He wasn’t particularly well off or anything, he just happened to be there and ready to sleep with her. He had red curly hair and freckles, and he was a nice enough man. Lilly only met him once when she was an itty bitty child. He was shouting with her mother about being allowed to see his child. He’s uh, dead now;;;
The angel world is really interesting because a lot of it mirrors the demon world. There’s this tree int he demon world that gives people nightmares. In the angel world, there is near exact tree but it grants people good dreams. It’s a very beautiful place, really. Lots of sunshine and open skies for flying. Most of the land is composed of big, floating islands. There are a lot of statues that are supposed to be “art” but they lack the soul and grace that human art has.
Diana’s palace is the largest building in the whole land. It’s full of gold and gilded marble, and it serves as both her living quarters and the high court of angels, which she presides over. There is a HUGE chunk of wall and ceiling missing in her throne room from where Burai once led an attack in the great war. The angels have tried patching it but nothing manages to stick, so they just threw a bunch of glass over it and tried to make it look pretty.
