1. What would prevent you from following someone?

Rules page - they don’t have one at all, or they just sound like a jerk.

About page - they don’t have one at all (especially for OCs or blogs that say canon divergent), or the page they do have is very short and unhelpful.

A theme that I can’t read or navigate.

A lack of IC content. If I have to scroll through five pages of your blog just to find anything that’s in character? That’s not gonna work. I mean... it is a roleplay blog. There should probably be roleplay on it.

Lots of drama, callouts, vagueblogging, etc.

Dash only blogs. I won’t do em. Just won’t.

People who roleplay as a real person. That’s just super uncomfortable for me. I might sometimes make an exception for historical figures.

11. What do you know now about rp that you wish you knew when you first started?

It’s okay to block and unfollow people that make you uncomfy. Just do it.

13. Have you ever thought about leaving rp? What caused it? What changed your mind?

There are times I’ve considered dropping Tumblr and going entirely to Discord, but those phases never last. I don’t know how I would find new partners if I only wrote on Discord...

It had been a while since Tonks stepped foot in Grimmauld place, maybe once since her husband died, it reminded her too much of him and of Sirius. But it had been some time since she took Teddy to visit with his God mother and she wanted to check on her, herself. The today blonde with brilliant multi-colored streaks in her short hair carted the baby up the stairs and knocked only once before the door swung open and she greeted her old friend  “Wotcher, Harriet” she greeted with a wide smile, Teddy cooing excitedly in greeting as well. “Sorry we’re late, Muggle transportation is a nightmare.”

Remus is honest insofar as he hates to lie. Honesty was instilled in him early on by his father and he’d taken it to heart through the years and kept this quality in honor of all his parents did to raise him.

However, some stretching of truth was necessary considering his affliction; he could not very well blurt out the truth to everyone who poked their nose into his business. When possible he omitted the truth, or told half-truths to both protect himself and the questioner, though it still pained him to do so.

This was partially why the Marauders were so valuable to him — they afforded him the opportunity to be his most honest self through and through without fear of repercussion.

What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you involving rp?

Um… one time I was talking with a friend, we were comparing stories of partners we’d lost contact with, and we realized that we were actually talking about the same mun. It was on different blogs and in different fandoms, with years separating the two instances, but more or less the same thing happened. Neither of us had known them all that well, but it was still kind of bizarre.
