Shut It Up, Just Shut Up

“And Lottie was like-”

“Shut up Louis.” Zayn interrupts. Louis sticks his tongue out and continues with his story.

“Louis. Shut the fuck up.” Niall snaps. Louis ignores him. Harry groans.

“Lou. Please, please stop talking.” He begs. Louis just keeps talking, a mischievous smirk on his face.

“Liam!” Harry whines. “Do something!” Liam shrugs.

“You know how he gets.”

“Wanker.” Zayn mutters.

“Hey, I’ll have you know tha-” Louis’ cut off when Liam smacks a hand over his mouth.

“Let’s not go there, yeah Lou?” Liam asks. Louis sighs.

“Fine.”

“Hold up. Wait. Wait a minute here -‘let’s not go there’? Is there somethin’ yah aren’t tellin’ us?” Niall asks.

“They told us last week, Ni.” Zayn says, patting the blonde’s shoulder.

“They told you last week. I was in Ireland. Remember?”

“This was before you left. But to recap: Liam and Louis are shagging. Oh, sorry, they’re together.” Harry says, amending the end of his sentence at Liam’s scandalized look.

“Since when?” Niall asks. Louis opens his mouth to tell the long, and admittedly tragic, story but Liam stops him with a kiss.

“Why didn’t we have him do that earlier?” Zayn asks. Harry shakes his head, pointing at the two boys now full on snogging on the couch.

“That’s why.”

“Okay. No one wants tah watch yah snog.” Niall says. Louis flips him off.

“Right. We’ll just leave then.” Zayn says, dragging the other two out the door.

“Thanks for shutting him up, Li.” Harry says sarcastically.

Fangbanger: Chapter 1. (Louis centric)

Prompt: Starting this series without a prompt. Feel free to leave some for me! :)

Summary: Fangbanger is a series that is an AU meme between the world of True Blood and One Direction.

Warning/Type: Some angst. Au.

AN: I know not everyone has seen True Blood, but no worries. I'll try to write it in such a way that doesn't require any prerequisite knowledge. The only things you need to know are: Vampires in this series are represented classically (can't go into the sun/weakness to silver/stake to the heart equals death/etc). True Blood is based on the idea that the vampires of the world have existed in silence because they had to feed on humans to sustain their existence. When a Japanese company makes a synthetic substance called "TruBlood", the vampires all "come out" because they no longer need to feed on humans. The story revolves around their struggle to gain acceptance in the world. Your also going to be seeing allusions to the 'hierarchy' with terms like 'Sheriff' or 'King'. Don't fret over those details as much as it will most likely become clearer as the series goes on. With all that said, I hate that I'm starting a million series at once and I have prompts in my ask box, but this story keeps tormenting my mind so I NEED to write this.

Louis blinked rapidly as he was startled awake. He looked around the basement he was in. He'd been held captive here for... he didn't know how long. One night while he was walking from his car to the front door of his house, he'd been grabbed. It happened crazy fast. It was three vampires. Three men. Men who passed him around their group without mercy, doing whatever they pleased. When they didn't have any use for him, they kept him locked in this basement. Chained up.

The reason he was startled awake was because he heard a loud bang come from upstairs, followed by what sounded like furniture being thrown around. Louis knew a fight was ensuing upstairs and he could only hope the fight wouldn't be brought to him. He knew other vampires had to be fighting the vampires that lived here. No human stood a chance against the speed and strength of a vampire.

Louis heard three audible thumps upstairs, presumably bodies, then a succession of three soft explosions and splattering. He heard footsteps. They weren't frantic, just slow and measured. He heard the basement door open and the room was flooded with room. He guarded his eyes with his hand and dreaded what was coming. He was sure one of the men had come to gather him.

Instead, he saw a face he wasn't familiar with. The person standing on the stairs was male, with very short hair. He could see more figures behind him but couldn't make them out. Louis' heart began to race. Who was this man? What had he come to do? The other man waved the others off and they went back upstairs.

He finished walking down the stairs and then slowly made his way over to Louis. Louis felt a slight whimper escape his throat and the man simply unlocked the chains around Louis' wrists. Louis looked at him inquisitively.

The other man spoke. "My name is Liam. I've come to free you."

Louis was shocked. So, this man was obviously another vampire. Needless to say, Louis had plenty of reasons to have a distrust of vampires. He pulled away and backed himself into a corner. Louis had been kept nude for so long and had began to forget that he was always like it, but with this new person around, he blushed and covered himself. Liam didn't act offended or upset that Louis pulled away, he just stayed put in his spot.

"W-who are you? Wh-where are the other men?" Louis asked, his voice shaking.

"To be honest, I killed them." Liam said coldly. "As for who I am, my name is Liam Payne. I am the Sheriff of this area."

"Sheriff?"

"Complicated vampire thing. You'll learn more about it, if you hang with vampire's that is."

"Why did you come to save me?"

"Apart from the fact that kidnapping someone and... well... doing things with them is against both human and vampire laws? It's my job to clean up messes like this or have someone do it for me."

"Give me a second. I'll bring you a robe."

Louis waited there, shocked as Liam was gone in the blink of an eye and back in the next, holding a white robe. Louis slipped into it, glad to finally have his body covered again by clothes. He stood up slowly.

"Now I need to ask you to accompany me back to my home for a short period of time and then you'll be free to do as you wish." Liam said. 

"What for?" Louis asked, hesitance thick in his voice.

"You'll need to speak with the King."

Louis nodded, figuring it was just another vampire thing. He followed Liam upstairs and through a bloody and destroyed upstairs. Furniture was turned over. Glass was broken everywhere. Louis climbed into a limo with Liam and two of Liam's agents, Lisa and Michelle, both got in. Both women were vampires and, judging by the scene in the house, good fighters.

They rode for a bit. The limo was quite. Louis took a deep breath, sighing. He couldn't believe he'd actually been saved. He had convinced himself that he was doomed to die there. His body was battered and bruised, scared with a million bite marks. Louis was anxious about meeting this King.

After about thirty more minutes, they pulled into a driveway. Liam helped Louis out and he was escorted into a lavish looking home. The inside was even more extravagant.

They walked into a den of sorts where a dark skinned boy sat. He stood up, his long overcoat flowing behind him. 

Liam bowed his head slightly. "King Zayn. This is Louis, the human we rescued from the rogues."

Zayn gave a small hum as he looked Louis over. "Well it's clear he's a victim. I'll report to the Authority that the rumors were true. As for this poor soul, please offer him any accommodation he made need. The Authority will take care of any incurred expenses."

"Of course, your majesty."

Zayn gave a smile and a laugh. "Oh Liam, you are always a cute one when you're being subordinate."

"Keyword is when." Liam gave a playful smile.

"Oh Liam you kill me!" Zayn said dramatically, fanning his face. "At any rate, I must be going."

Zayn gave a farewell to everyone and then left in a flourish. Lisa and Michelle excused themselves, leaving Louis and Liam in the room together. Louis fidgeted a bit.

"Would you like to return to your home? You have a room here for as long as you'd like it."

Louis thought it over. He certainly didn't want to be alone. He figured staying one night wouldn't hurt. He took Liam up on his offer and Liam ushered him into a room on the upper floor. It was a rather large room with a large bed and a private bathroom off to the side. Louis thanked Liam and closed the door. He sunk onto the bed and began crying softly. He knew Liam would be able to hear him but he didn't care at that point. All of his emotions from the experience rushed forward and exploded at once.
