As hinted at earlier, if you’re hunkering down because of the quarantine, why not have some fun? Meet Sim Nico! He lives in a house built from one of YouTube Sims 4 player lilsimsie’s shell challenges, and is pursuing a career in the Entertainment field. His traits are romantic, loves the outdoors, and he’s a music lover. He has the music aspiration as well.
If there’s enough positive response, I might upload him to the Gallery, as well as the house, and you can put Nico into your games!

Sims 4: A Traveler’s Tales
Having recently bought the sims 4 Jungle Adventures, I decided to create a new sim challenge, focusing around storytelling. I have written a short description on the four phrases you must face. This challenge allows you to play creatively, making you as the player imagination go crazy. I have also set goals for you but your more than welcome to adjust them to fit your needs/desires.
This is my first challenge I have ever created, so hopefully this is at a good standard and can keep you and the audience intrigued. I am sorry if there are many grammar/spelling mistakes and i hope that you can enjoy the challenge as much as i enjoyed writing it.
Here are a few beginning guides before getting into the challenge:
Setting Up:
Two Characters: Allowed To Choose Any Gender.
One or both must have the archaeology lifetime ambition.
Likely to have a romantic relationship but can also be just friendship.
Both much have an interest within the archeology skill.
Both sims can live together to make the challenge easier to control.
Allowed to have small-side jobs as savings.
Can create families for the characters but isn’t required as they can be orphans. Allow for as much creativity as possible.
Allowed to have archeology job but if you want a challenge do it as a hobby based job ( Modded career v JA).
( Add additional notes later on).
Create-a-Sim:
Sims must have either ambition/bookworm trait, all other traits can be chosen by player. Must be teenager for you to be able to develop character skills. Phrase One (Teenage-hood)
Growing up, our character grew a passion for studying history, learning artefacts and focusing in myths. Wanting to grow up as explorer/ archeologist. They stayed behind during their study time researching the lost cities of the Simlands, growing more ambition to get away from Windenburg and to find as many lost artefacts and cities as possible.
Needed to progress to the next stage:
Gain Level 4 of the archaeology skill . Make the main sims close friends/best friends
Make sims go to the museum and read archeology book to gain skill
Must live in Windenburg
Optional:
Have a part-time job to help out in adulthood towards housing or adventures:
( Chosen path of an Orphan ):Having sims living together via care home or living on the streets (Joint savings)
( Living with families ): Make the sims plan on living together when they reach adulthood (Separate savings)
Have the sims form a romantic relationship with each other
Phrase Two ( Teenager turning into Young Adult )
Almost turning into a young adults, you must start planning for your futures, where are you gonna stay, how much money have you got, when should we just pack our bags to leave. So many questions which needed to be answered before turning a Young Adult. Well heres your chance, in this phrase you move into your apartment with you other sim ( if haven’t already), the cheaper one can keep you safe from harm whereas living in style can get you status. This is where your adventure begins and only you can decide on where it takes you.
Needed to progress to the next stage:
Move into your apartment ( If chosen orphan path must live in the cheaper part of San Myshuno since the government given you a place to stay for free only thing required is it need the repair trait on it and for you to pay your bills on time ) .
Move into your apartment ( If chosen living with families path you can choose wherever you would like to live depending on the upbringing of your characters.. again you can cheat to move into the apartment but you are allow to play for it realistically ) .
Optional:
Get yourself a pet but know having a pet brings a lot or responsibilities and setbacks.
Don’t allow your apartment to be fully decorated and allow crates and decorate over time, new artefacts new set out.
Can have roommates within your apartment but have the mod install as you cannot control them and they must been great friends.
Phrase Three ( Young Adult )
Finally turning into a young adult, you can now start your adventure, with all the money you have, you call your pal to get you to your destination. Arriving, you are placed with the issue of living, are you gonna stay in a Villa or live in the wildnesses with tents. Well that for you to decide. From here an out your on your own, live and chose the actions you must take but be aware, who knows who would be after you.
Needed to complete stage:
Before heading for your adventure make sure your archeology skill is lv 6 onwards .
Have the archeology table .
Have a decent skill within athletic, you’ll need it in order to climb all those rocks to achieve your artefacts.
Max your archeology skill and gain a high skill level for all skills needed for your adventure.
Max you lifetime goal ( can continue into phrase four )
Optional:
Create or personalise a museum for your artefacts if you would want them to be displayed to the world.
Create villains and make the challenge for the artefact challenging
Phrase Four ( Final Stage )
This begins after you finally find the lost artefact. This can lead to an wholes new story whether or not you would want to follow this path, this is entirely optional.
Natural Ending: Finding the artefact your story ends, I suppose, time to relax and keep your feet up, finding the artefact must leave you for a life of luxury or a life of wanting more adventure. Our characters matures, they must decide to live a normal life or continue the life of exploring.
If wanting to continue the life of exploring would you want to do it legitimacy or under the law just like before.
If living a normal life, where will their life leave, will they have children, get a family, live in a life or crime or a normal job. Only time can tell. Will they use the money from their adventure to start their life or give them up for local museums under a anonymous name, keeping their identity safe.
Supernatural Beginnings: After finding the artefact, they find a whole new side to the whole, they only thought were myths.
Vampires, are they really real, living among us, this needs to be investigated and only we know, this must stay a secret between the only companions they stand beside, if the whole world find out, both will be in danger.Packing their luggage, they find a hidden town call Forgotten Hollow, will they be able to disguise themselves or will they be caught.
Will one go alone whilst the other stay in San Myshuno and investigate and mail their progress of studying vampires to the other. Only you can decide the fate of the sims and decide on becoming a Vampire Hunter or keeping them safe and far away from the real world.
The two endings can be how you choose to decide with only the supernatural beginning having a few bunch of set targets for your sims to decide.
If wanting to play the natural ending and wanting to continue playing alongside the Jungle Adventure pack, you can use the career mod Archeology Career to make you sims appear to actually work legitimacy but you can continue playing legitimacy without the mod but I would suggest getting it as the under the radar path would not be known as a career only as a hobby.
If wanting to leave the adventure life behind, you have full range of what you can do for your characters with no limits.
If wanting to continue the story but in the supernatural world there are a few steps you need to complete this challenge but overall you can let your creative minds allow the story to progress in which ever way you like: If only having one sim go to Forgotten Hollow:
The sim staying behind in San Myshuno must have max skill in the Vampire skill ( you can cheat the skill in if you like ) as they are studying constantly about the life form.
The sim going to Forgotten Hollow must have a level 4.
If both sims going to to Forgotten Hollow:
Make sure that both sims levels of the vampire skill is level 6.
From then on out, you as the player can decide on the rest of the story which this can bring. However, if you would want me to add additional information/ requirements for this part for the challenge. I would be more than welcome to add additional requirements and have an more in-depth aspect into this ending.

Luna tells him that she’s a vegetarian. He likes a woman who cares about what she puts in her mouth. He grew up with a mother who would dig through trash for food, even when the fridge was full.
Tetsuo doesn’t notice the people standing around them because he only has eyes for Luna.
Amaya invites Maaike over after work.
Then promptly falls asleep. Time to get rid of that deathtrap bed and buy a proper bed. Chad and Amaya could both use a full night’s sleep.
Chad decides to rest in the hot tub. Maaike, a snob, invites herself in.
Chad and Maaike talk a bit and become friends. (Sorry, Ilisimie, but your mirco home is being expanded to a tiny level 2 home. Chad and Amaya need more space.)
Amaya and Chad order food.
Amaya doesn’t some last minute cramping before finals tomorrow.
By the time, their food finally arrives the restaurant is quiet and the staff is cleaning up.
Amaya ends the evening with a good night kiss.
