About the family:
Preston and Harrison have been pining on eachother since they were campers at Camp Campbell, dating in secret for a while to keep things on the DL from Harrison’s family. After a few years in Highschool, Harrison finally came out to his parents as Bi.
Eventually, the two married when they were older, and later on (with the help of a surrogate) had their daughters, Chrissie and Lily

Preston Lovett-Goodplay (Age 38):
Thanks to his passion and dedication, Preston’s career in broadway kicked off fairly early. With him signing a deal, he and the family moved to New York, where he performs weekly in the most magnificent shows.
Currently, he’s working on adding the finishing touches to Romeo and Juliett II: Love Resurrected, and is hoping to bring it to the stage soon.
Harrison Lovett-Goodplay (Age 37):
Harrison’s career in magic kicked off when he was about in high school, a video of him performing at a party going viral got his name spread everywhere. Nowadays, after a shit ton of shows in Vegas and general performance burnout, he’s settled in to live a “normal” life with his family.
Although, his natural magical abilities left him anxious to try and have a biological kid of his own, worried that Lily would gain his powers and not know how to use them. After a lot of reassurance and support from Preston, however, he finally decided to go ahead, ready to face whatever she could possibly bring in. He wants her to have the love and support for her powers that he missed out on as a kid, so he’d be willing to teach her everything he knows if she did wind up inheriting anything from him.
Christine Lovett-Goodplay (Age 15):
Christine (Known by her friends as “Chrissie”), is a very passionate girl. She’s got her father, Preston’s, overall attitude, and is hard to tear down. She loves to draw, mainly fashion designs and illustrations. At a young age, she fell in love with fashion and costume design thanks to her father’s studying for his stageplay.
She’s only been at Camp Campbell for a few years, mainly attending when her dads were still around Sleepy Peak performing locally. There, she met her crush (and future girlfriend!!), Nancy Hhart
Since moving to New York, she and Nancy have been long-distance, often calling nightly to keep in touch. They do try and meet up in the summer, though.
Lily Lovett-Goodplay (Age 1):
She’s babie.
Spoiler alert: she’s got, like, one power (so far),, She somehow can make hand sparklies, and it confuses the hell outta everyone. It only glows. Just basically glow in the dark glitter.
But it’s sooo cute and she loves it
(I know I have Lily in another AU, but I never wound up drawing/writing that aside from the first post, so I wound up using her here so she isn’t wasted!! remember 2 recycle kiddos)
