WOWIE ZOWIE this entire bit of the chapter was just SO YURIFUL i love how awkward susie and noelle were at first, but they naturally warmed up due to sharing the same interests...their personalities also just mesh together so well, i love how susie teases noelle and noelle enjoys it!!!!! it's so cute!!!!! they're so silly!!!!!!!! IM SO HAPPYYY!!

it's sad that they got interrupted, i wonder if kris called carol over? because she wasn't suppose to be home until later... also, carol entering the room was SO chilling 😬 toby did a really good job on making her feel like a suffocating parent who controls every aspect of her child's life
it also kills me that susie tried to take the blame because she didn't want noelle to get in trouble!! her expression kills me here!! god I already hate carol SHE'S AWFUL
