seeing this again made me realize the lilylando rivalry implication is actually that Lando said Oscar’s accent didn’t start changing until AFTER being his teammate for a while and that he held a power over Their Husband that Lily did not !!!

it is funny to me how Oscar's hearteyes/staring/intense look he has specifically for his teenage obsession Lando and his teenage sweetheart Lily is also paralleled in how he doesn't do much PDA or traditionally gushy language about them and almost all his downtime with them is totally unseen and barely makes even his own social media

to the degree that every few months or so ppl randomly assume he and Lando don't socialize ever or at all (despite proof) and rumors go around that he and Lily have broken up or are having problems (despite no proof)

Oscar went from junior series being pretty active on sm to literally shutting off 99% of his non-racing life from the general public after the hate he got from Alpine/McLaren/Daniel/Lando/most F1 fans after twittergate (and Lando eventually adopted the same strategy with himself and Oscar) so if it weren't for other people's posts or something mentioned in passing or Lily's blessed camera roll we would have absolutely no clue about his life outside of the garage paddock or MTC
