Even I haven’t listened to their newest albums as much as I did back in the days of Greatest Lovesongs, Razorblade Romance, and so on, it still breaks my heart. On the other hand, I think it is a very big step to admit, you are stuck and need a change. And tbh it wasn’t the same without Gas.
There are really no words that can express, how much this band meant and still means to me. HIM was my first favourite band when I was 10/11.
So thank you for getting me through so much shit in my life. Teenage angst, going to highschool, the loss of my father, depression and anxieties. (And you little shits made me laugh with your goofiness when no one else could.) I wasn’t there to always support you guys but you were always there, if I needed someone to understand my pain, if I needed a shoulder to cry on and a soundtrack to cry to.
