Have you seen the new art cards popping up in subway cars around the city? Lily Padula brings the experience of New York City’s greatest art museums to the underground in her illustration “The Gallery”. Embedded with hidden subway references, she depicts works by famous artists such as Vasily Kandinsky, Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh and Salvador Dali, that are on display in New York City’s greatest institutions and accessible by public transportation.
